South Congress Ave. Bridge Branding
This project proposes a visual rebrand for Austin, Texas's Ann Richard's Congress Avenue Bridge. It's a top Texan tourist destination and is home to a unique migratory bat colony, but lacks a recognizable visual identity, and a cohesive website to home bridge related information. I designed a logo and mobile website mockup that compare to that of San Fran's Golden Gate, or London's Tower Bridge.

My approach
I researched the bridge online and in person to discover most who frequent are seeking the bat emergences. Then, compared it to high performing bridges like Golden Gate in San Francisco and Tower Bridge in London. Both of which have a logo, website, and social media.
I knew I needed to create a logo that capitalized the bat aspect of the bridge, and a website to direct its users.

Final Deliverables
A fun, experimental and multicolor visual identity communicating the variety and quirkiness. Austin is known for The bat colony speaks to the bridges unique selling point, and symbolically represents community and connection. I also created a mobile website in figma that houses all bridge related information and links that a visitor or tourist would need to learn more about South Congress Bridge.
